Psychiatric Services

Medication management is provided to assist with anxiety, depression, and cognitive disruption commonly experienced by geriatric residents.

The Benchmark team is board certified and assists with overall management of residents within the long-term care facility. Psychotropic medication management is provided to assist with Depression, Anxiety, and memory deficits associated with Dementia/Alzheimer's Disease. The Benchmark psychiatry staff works in conjunction with our psychotherapists to coordinate cognitive assessment. All of our psychiatric staff are trained in the understanding of OBRA standards as they pertain to the newly expanded F-329 guidelines. Benchmark Psychiatric Services, LTD. offers our Dosage Reduction Services to all contracted facilities. This program is designed to ensure the highest degree of compliance with existing guidelines and the completion of required objective measures including AIMS testing, Geriatric Depression Screening, and Geriatric Anxiety Inventory screening.
